Done. Now I'm awaiting deposits of btcs.

My boss actually is currently mining BTCs at his house with 7 mining machines. He's mined about 100 BTCs in the past 6 months but hasn't broken even yet heh.

The key is free electricity. Japantown SF ftw, lol. When you've got your BTC, hit me up. LTC/BTC ratio will go alot higher than it is in the short term.

P.S. If you're not into it yet, get into it :)
If all of us together in S*F bought 200 BTC when this thread was made, we'd be banking.

March - November... 8 months... 200 BTC @ ~$50 = $10,000 ........ Now, 200 BTC @ ~$1000 = $200,000

I have, and I'm sure doer has enough now that it's getting to "nunya" levels. That said, I just cashed out some poorly performing AAPL and put it into BTC earlier this month and have been VERY happy with my decision.

Oh hey Defac, I sadly bought that car around May. Shouldn't have, but whatever. I dipped back in shortly afterwards, bought like a hundred, then diversified into LTC at $3.6 (0.013 BTC), now it's $40 (~0.04 BTC), etc. Nunya, to the moon! :)

On the lookout for innovation. Bitcoin is like Netscape. Looking for a Firefox. Watching these right now:

Ripple (XRP)
Peercoin (PPC)
Litecoin (LTC)
Feathercoin (FTC)

Yo: http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/12/ ... 2220131205

It'll rain cheap coins soon, but I can't time a bottom.

I would recommend getting BTC, LTC, Ripple in this dip. I just scooped up 5K FTC as well (purely speculative, but it has a great community). Charts: http://www.btccharts.com/ http://bitcoinwisdom.com/

P.S. I'm speculating aswell. "Transact at your own risk!" -China

ok say bitcoins go to $600 and I buy 10 of them for $6000. Next day they're 1k each and I offload them for $10k. I have 10k minus fees in my wallet, can i transfer that immediately to my bank account as cash?

Yes, but a cautionary/warning note. Some banks will freeze your account for transacting in/with bitcoins. In fact no bank right now would even take you on as a customer for operating a bit coin exchange. I've read a bunch of horror stories surrounding it.

I'd use a savings account or something when going through the actual bitcoin to usd conversion.

Yes, and like Scree said, banks don't like Bitcoin. /r/bitcoin has a bunch of stories of people's banks cancelling their accounts. It's direct competition. You can however use localbitcoins.com . They have an escrow system which protects the seller and buyer.
