Some of the old GameHavoc crew are giving Discord a try. Discord is a free VoIP and chat application that can be used directly from your browser (Or with a downloaded app too). Think Vent/TS/Mumble without having to pay for the server, with chat rooms and voice rooms, etc. You can join multiple servers at once (though only one voice channel at a time), and it remembers the servers, etc.
